The process of consigning your goods for auction or selling them outright for direct purchase is quite simple-better yet there are some flexible options. We have discussed these various options throughout our literature but will reiterate the highlights and procedures herein:
Consignments for Auction
- On site-In the event that circumstances have dictated that an on-location auction is necessary (i.e. in the case of large household estates), the consignment process is nothing more than arranging a meeting at our offices or a place of your choosing (usually the sale site or estate) and executing the necessary documentation establish the sale date and terms.
- Gallery or Off-site sales (pick up service mail in service) For consignment of one item a few or several (or even large accumulations ) all you need to do more than call us to arrange an appointment at your house, location or place of business convenient to you.. We will then come and execute a simple consignment agreement and receipt for your goods and locate t hem to our auction preparation site for a future sale date. In the case of mailing or shipping items please call in advance for advice and instructions
- Gallery sales (walk-in delivery) for consignment of goods for sales at our biweekly gallery auctions (or special event sales) we are open for deliveries every day from 9 to 5 (please call for appointment or to arrange time/date convenient to you. A member of our staff will examine and discuss what you bring in help you unload if necessary and execute a simple consignment agreement acknowledging receipt of your goods. You may even be assigned a table at this time and set up your own items. If you wish to make delivery other than at the above times simply call us for an appointment.
